Empowering Decision-Making with Tarot

tarot, daily tarot, decision making with tarot

Decision-making is an integral part of life's journey, and sometimes, we may seek guidance through the Tarot. Tarot can be a valuable tool for navigating choices both big and small. In this blog post, we'll explore how you can use tarot for decision-making, and provide three practical tips to enhance this practice.

A few years ago, I found myself at a major crossroads. Over and over in my daily readings I kept getting the Three of Pentacles - a card that I had labeled as “Collaboration.” Each time I pulled this card I thought about ways that I could collaborate with other business owners. Bringing the magic of others to my community. However, week after week the card kept coming up for me.

Eventually the time came that I was going to launch my first ever membership (Cosmic Expansion.) The launch was just a couple weeks away and I had a feeling I needed help with all the little things that would have to get done to pull it off.

Drawing the Three of Pentacles again, I felt a surge of excitement. It was as though the card ignited a spark within me. The Three of Pentacles reminded me that I didn’t have to do it alone. This encouragement from the tarot gave me the courage to follow my intuition, and I hired a Virtual Assistant a few days later. I would not be where I am in my business today without her!

Using Tarot for Decision-Making

Clarifying Your Options

When faced with a decision, start by framing the question clearly. For example, "What career path could I pursue?" or "What can I learn about moving to a new city?" Shuffle the tarot deck while focusing on your question, then draw a card. The card's symbolism and message can shed light on the options at hand.

Weighing Pros and Cons

Lay out the cards in a spread that resonates with you, such as a three-card spread representing past, present, and potential influences. Assign each option or choice to one of the cards. Interpret the cards individually to understand their implications for each choice. This method can help you assess the pros and cons of each option.

Listening to Your Intuition

Tarot cards are a conduit to your inner wisdom. Pay attention to your initial gut reaction when you see a card. Is it positive or negative? What emotions does it evoke? Trust your intuition to guide you toward the choice that feels right, even if it challenges your logical thinking.

Using tarot for decision-making is a powerful way to tap into your intuition and gain valuable insights into the choices that lie ahead. By following the three practical tips outlined above and drawing inspiration from personal anecdotes like mine, you can approach decisions with confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection to your inner wisdom. Remember, the tarot is not a fortune-telling tool but a mirror reflecting the wisdom you already possess.
